  1. Reaching Out (or “From Christmas to Easter”) by Pastor Larry P Morris

    The Babe,
    held in his father arms
    reached out
as if to touch and find and grasp.
There was a safety in his reaching out
    as strong arms held him.
There was a boldness in finding,
when his father was right there.

Soon enough Jesus wouldn’t be a babe
    and even then,
He would still be reaching out,
    He would often be touching,
and He would usually be finding
    those who were lost.
    Although it wasn’t safe,
    and the risk was high,
    He was still bold
and God’s arms would be just long enough
    to find us all.
