“There is no one out there who does not consider themselves a person”.
I heard this quote many years ago and I think of it often. It reminds me that everyone we meet has a sense of self-awareness, not matter who they are nor their station in life. It reminds me to treat all with respect and compassion.
I Try (as I have for several to get this post to go through): To remember God is inside of everyone To listen and think before I speak To have kinder thoughts towards to those who are impatient with me because I drive at the speed limit. To be on time, but not get overly stressed when I am running late. To remember that everyone is carrying baggage that affects them. To change the rules as I learn and grow. To try new experiences, creative pursuits, but not those likely to break a bone.
